hi blogging buddies - I am playing catch up & created a couple of blog posts that I wanted to do earlier in the year, but just didn't get to them. The posts are from my mom's surprise party in january, so I wanted them to be dated in January for organizational purposes for the day that I finally create a book from my blog using blurb.com.

Hopefully I will do a few more "catch up" posts since I never finished telling you about my trip with Madi to Washington DC. The funny thing is she's getting ready to go again soon - this time with her dad & her class at school.

you did plan an excellent party, and I think your mom really did like it. So,I know you have some real beauties of me when it comes to pictures, but the one of all the party attendees- that one just may take the cake!

I really enjoy these two posts, LaRae. I'm so glad you went back and caught up. Kimmy had told me about the quilt and I was hoping to see it on your blog. It turned out SO, SO beautiful. What a treasure! And I'm always so impressed with your "food presentations!" (And taste!) Your mom's parties look like they were both a huge success!
