Author Extraordinaire

Picture stories by Ms. Lacey Wallace, kindergarten, age 6

When she's famous, you can say that you first saw her work here-on her mom's blog! Oh how I enjoy the work of a six-year-old girl. Stories are all about flowers and butterflies and family and friends. The sun is always shining, and life is good! May you all look at life today through the eyes of a six-year-old. Happy day!!

Anyone happen to notice a common theme among much of Lacey's work? There is certainly much to love when you are six! I'm just glad that she thinks I'm nice - at least when she's writing a story about me :).

Another theme would be "nice". So cute. Tell Lacey I thought her illustrations were just great, especially the egg/sunny day one, I really liked that page! So colorful it must have taken her a long time to finish that page. Isn't life great when you are young...the way they think. Yesterday Belle started to cry because she told Spencer she wanted to feed the ponies. He told her they might bite her, which really really upset her. I told him that he needed to remember that ponies to her are pink and blue and yellow with butterflies on them and flowers and they eat marshmallows and cookies....he laughed and thought that was so silly. How soon they forget, we have to appreciate those innocent years while we can!
