Easter Sunday was a joyful day as we heard beautiful messages and music about our Savior, Jesus Christ, at church. I think one of the things I love the most about Easter Sunday is starting out a church meeting joyfully singing, "Christ the Lord is risen today, alleluia!" Later, we spent the evening with my family, eating dinner, visiting, and watching the cousins play. The dinner was delicious, and Mike & Karla made us "to die for" molten chocolate cakes with raspberry sauce and ice cream for dessert. Mammy organized an egg hunt for the kids (little kids in the basement & big kids outside), and Poppy was a pro at hiding the eggs in the backyard that were somewhat challenging for the big kids to find. Not only did the kids find eggs with candy, but they also found eggs with dollar bills & a couple of "grand eggs" which included $5 bills & certificates for dates with Mammy! Definitely better treats than any Easter Bunny could hope to bring (sorry Bunny!).
Easter Sunday is always one of my favorite days for getting a few pictures of the family since everyone is in their Sunday Best and usually in somewhat coordinating outfits. Plus, it gives me that first taste of spring - short sleeves, green grass, flowers - I just love it! To top it off, my mom and dad have some great "picture spots" throughout their yard. I must admit that I couldn't choose just one or two poses of each person - so you will have to indulge me as I post several!

Really cute family pictures - my favorite ones are the ones with you in it, cause we don't get to see you enough. The girls look stylin' with their new hairdos, and Ben is a charmer.

Wow, love the family pics they are just precious! I just love Ben's blue suit!!! He is such a cutie pie! The girls look gorgeous, Madi is getting so mature looking! Katie looks like a model, and of course Lacey is darling as ever. I really loved the black and white pics! Very classic
