The world of ONE

there is much to be done
in the world of one
top of the list -
keep your mom on the run.

remove all the cans from the pantry
create a tall tower & squeal with glee
time to move on-
don't you agree?

there is much to be done
in the world of one
make a train out of legos
what could be more fun?

Just open the hall closet
a new best friend is right there inside it.
A vacuum to hug and take apart
An added bonus - suck up your sister's hair - every bit!

Oh how much to be done
in the world of one
walk in dad's shoes
oh you've just begun

Most precious little son
the world is your oyster, your future awaits
what will you (and I) become
after you leave this world of ONE?

I love it Larae! What a cutie that Ben is--and how I relate to the whirlwind he's creating (although my boys haven't outgrown it yet . . . )!

Very clever, LaRae. I remember the poetry you wrote in high school. Ben is a cutie, and busy, busy, busy.

Hang on to every precious moment..Ben will soon be diving into pools, sleding down hills, flying off on a mission! We raise our sons to be independent, yet oh to have a one year old again! Little Ben, what a darling kid. JK (Judy & Ken)
