My Hubby's Day

Today is Brad's day! I am so thankful for the man of my dreams & for his parents who brought him into this world and raised him to become the man he is today. This morning I was thinking about Brad and how long we have known each other. It's been a long time, yet in so many ways it feels that we have been together for just an instant. I wondered if we knew each other even before this life began. I suspect that we did, and I suspect that we wished each other well as we departed for our earthly experience with promises that we would find each other as soon as we could. It only took us 14 years - not all that long when you think about it! I am thankful that we had the opportunity to build a foundation of friendship many years before we were married. I love my husband & friend with all my heart. I celebrate this day he was born - a joy to his parents - eventually to become a joy to me and our children. Happy, happy birthday dear Brad!

Happy Birthday Big Brother! You are a wonderful brother that I've looked up to all my life. I'm so happy that you have LaRae to take care of you. Love the photo taking a plunge into the Woodbury pool! Ahh, the good ol' days. Love you!

This is a little late in coming, but here's what I remember about Brad -

He used to know exactly, and I mean exactly, how far his VW Bug would go when he was low on gas.

And - I remember a conversation between Brad and a certain young lady (whose initials were L.Z.) about how cool a new song on the radio was - "Waiting for a Girl Like You," by Foreigner.
