Happy New Year

A cabin in the mountains, an abundance of snow, blue skies, warm air, family, and cute 2 year olds (Ben with cousin Nicolette, my sister Janae's youngest daughter). It doesn't get much better than that - a perfect way to start a new year!

And so 2009 begins. We celebrated by sledding down hills (and leaving the camera inside), watching wild turkeys on the other side of the river, playing games, playing with cousins, and hanging out. A very beautiful day.

Hey LaRae! I stumbled onto your blog site via Janet's. What a fun way to catch up! I remember an 11 "story" snowman we built on my front lawn back in the 70's in Vegas. Glad to hear your thoughts on the "Pledge", and I can't believe your oldest is a year younger than my youngest. I barely have the energy for my grown-up kids. Keep it up!! It DOES slow down! I have 2 boys on missions and a girl about to graduate from college! I think having young ones keeps you young! Sorry if this is too long.
