There's a 4-letter word that's been repeated at my house recently. I call it the "T" word, and I just can't bring myself to repeat it! Sadly, I can't seem to curb this use of the "T" word. I guess it is harmless enough, although, I believe that when paired with "ager", the "T*&%" becomes an agent of aging - or one who inflicts aging upon others, and causes that aging to increase at quadruple the rate of an ordinary adult without "T*&%s" living in his or her household. So - don't be terribly surprised if the next time you see me, my hair is completely white, I have deep, dark circles under my eyes, and I keep saying "speak up sonny."
The reality of the "T" word is that I just selfishly want my baby girl back, even though I know that's impossible. I genuinely want time that has marched on - back. I promise you that just yesterday Madi was 2 and singing the Barney theme song and her ABC's. I swear she was just five and singing "Hard Knock Life" from Annie. Wait - I am pretty sure she was just eight and asking to sing a solo in Sacrament Meeting. Actually, she was just ten and singing all the songs from the "Walk the Line" soundtrack. Or maybe it's that she was just twelve and singing every song that David Archuleta has ever sung. Yeah - that's it, & I am sure she will keep singing those songs for a while, though I may not be able to get her to sing the Barney theme song any time soon. In actuality, Madi always has a song in her heart that is close to her lips, and no matter how old she gets, I am sure that will continue to be the case. And, as she continues to grow and mature, Madi will still be my daughter with a beautiful song in her heart that she is compelled to belt out to the world.

That looks like quite the turnout at the party! That is crazy that shes a teen, excuse the word, I remember her as a little 5 year old with her hamster, she was so cute! Sad as it is, they do grow up! Im glad she had a fun night to celebrate her introduction to the "terrible teens". Good luck.
Happy Birthday Madiline Marie! It looks like you had a great party! We miss you! Sending our love, GJ & GK
Watch out - she's a beauty! Happy Birthday, Madi!
No kidding she's a Beauty!! Just look at her! Beautiful and Talented, just like her Mama.
I'm very glad your "T" word represents Madi and is not the word I was thinking it was; which represents excrement.
Happy B-day Miss Madi:)
It looks like a very awesome party!
Welcome to those T years:)
Wow I can't believe it.... time flies by so very fast. I know it was Madi's night but I can help but comment on how cute Lacey looks in that picture!
I dread those days to come! For me they will come all at once. Once one gets to the T word they all follow quickly! Take notes and I will have someone to turn to in my days of dread!
Happy Birthday to Maddi - and good luck to you and the days of the "t" word. I will be there soon too, I will continue to look to you for wisdom and guidence.
