I am starting to wonder if I did the wrong thing when I got my hair cut a week ago. It's not that I didn't like my hair before, but I like to change my hair because I get tired of stying if the same way every day. (I am unlike my dad - who has had the same hair for my entire life - or Brad - who has had the same hair since high school!) Anyway - the reason I am wondering if I did the wrong thing is because, with the exception of one young woman at church ( & Brad, my girls & my mom), not ONE other person has said anything to me about my hair cut. I see a lot of moms & teachers at the school either daily or at least several times a week, and I have friends I see every week at church. It's certainly not a big deal, but in the past at least a few people have noticed when I've changed my hair style and said something like, "I like your hair" or "you got your hair cut". That's all I ever expected to hear, but this time - nada - zip - nothing - not one comment whatsoever!
I have contemplated the possible reasons -
1. The new "do" looks REALLY bad and no one wants to say anything because silently they are thinking, "why in the world did she cut her hair - that was such a BIG mistake".
2. It seems like a big change to me, but it is just not noticeable to anyone else.
3. I have had similar haircuts before and the way I've worn my hair for the last year is so forgettable that no one noticed a difference.
4. People are just too busy with their own lives to pay attention to (or care about) my hair.
5. Everyone is jealous because I look so hot & they don't want to say anything for fear that my head will get even bigger.
So here's your chance fellow bloggers - take a look at the pictures. What do you think the reason may be? You are my friends, & I know you don't want to hurt my feelings, but if it's reason #1 - YOU BETTER TELL ME! : )

I am thinking it is #5 for sure! You look very cute and stylish and ready for summer.
LaRae your hair looks really cute! It looked great before, too, though. I say enjoy it; and if noone else likes it, they need to realize that the only difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is about 2 weeks. :) But like I said, I think it's cute!
for me the reason is partly #2--it looks very similar to how you wore your hair for a long time. your hair is always cute! sorry not to have noticed.
Clearly, it's #5 - you look very hot. I like your hair a lot, and I like that you like to change it up because my hair has been the same for the past 20 something years. You have a great hairdresser because your hair always looks great.
They both look great to me!! I'm sure everyone is just jealous of how you can wear you hair so many different ways and look great!
You know this morning I was thinking that I really like your blog 'cause you are keeping it real, sayin' what you feel! You do not disappoint!! If it makes you feel better, I noticed the clip in your hair on Sunday :) I think it is partly #2 though.
Um, my excuse is I don't see you often enough to know whether you're sporting a new do or I'm just behind the times. It looks really cute, but somewhat similar to ways you've had it in the past. I feel the same way. I just changed my haircut and color somewhat (bangs where I really didn't have any and more lowlights)and I had to give Chad his cue "do you like my new hairdo" to which his comment is, it looks nice but I don't understand why you would want to change. He has had the same haircut since approximately 1980. So, I feel your pain. And yes, to echo all the comments, you always have great hair.
It's definitely not reason #1. I would say reason #2. I can relate to this post because I feel the same way when I get my hair cut and nobody says anything. I wonder too if it's because everyone thinks it looks awful. Who knows what it means for me, but your hair looks great! A great cut for summer. :-)
LaRae, you are too, too funny! I love your posts...and I love the new do! IIII would have noticed and commented! It looks great.
