Someone has a new hole in her mouth! One month after turning 6, Lacey has lost her first tooth. Yesterday afternoon, while at school, she discovered that her tooth was loose. On the way home she reported this news to me, and I was anxious to check out the loose tooth for myself. Lacey wiggled her tooth all during dance class and then yesterday evening, I finally got a chance to wiggle the tooth. I was surprised to discover that her tooth was, indeed loose. It was so loose, in fact, that it was ready to come out! I couldn't believe it. After a few good pushes on the tooth, it came right out, and Lacey couldn't wait for her first visit from the tooth fairy! Just like her big sisters have done in the past, Lacey left a note asking the tooth fairy to please leave her tooth. Thankfully, the tooth fairy cooperated & Lacey's tooth was left right where she put it, safely under her pillow. Why did Lacey want to keep her tooth? So she could take it to school & share it with her class, of course! It's easy to make Lacey smile right now because she is anxious to show everyone that new little hole in her mouth.
