The Wallace family welcomed grandchild #18 to the family this week, and it's a girl! Congrats on baby #6 Aimee & Casey! Wow! Hooray for our new baby cousin! I don't have a picture & she doesn't have a name yet, but I just had to share the good news. When baby has a name, I will share. Maybe she will be like Ben and have to go a week before her name is known. I remember having a hard time calling Ben by his name because "baby" and "baby brother" suited him so well.
New baby Wallace was born on Monday morning at 6:50 am, weighing 8 lbs 2 oz & measuring 20 inches long. She has thick black hair & is beautiful, of course! Oh the joy of a new baby. I will forever remember the tender feelings and closeness to heaven that I felt during the first few months of my new babies' lives. There truly is nothing like the feel of one so new to the earth. I can hardly wait to hold this new baby girl!

What a great time for your family! We haven't had a new baby for a year and a half, and it doesn't look like we'll be getting another one for a while.
Steven R. Covey said that the veil between heaven and earth is the thinnest when a baby is born, so I can understand how you felt when your came.
I didn't call my son by his name for a while, either. "The baby" seemed to fit.
Congrats to Aimee and Casey! Can't wait to see a picture:)
This makes three boys and three girls for them right? I'm so happy for them. This sweet little girl couldn't have come to a nicer family!
Gosh, I guess Casey really has bonded with his new Partnet family. He sent us this link: New Baby Girl. Very cute!
There is nothing like having a newborn around. They don't stay that little long enough. They all turn into "little angels" eventually. I enjoyed reading your post about Ben!
Congratulations! I agree, the veil is very thin when new baby's are born. I wish we had a new baby around here...not mine...somebody else's.
Linda - this IS 3 & 3 for Aimee & Casey. All of Brad's siblings are "even" but he is not! Jill & Kimmy are both at 2 & 2, and Casey is 3 & 3 - then there's us - 3 & 1! That's OK - we don't mind that we're uneven!
