Last night at this time we were almost landing, home from our trip to Hawaii. Tonight at this time all four of my kids are still awake - fighting - & telling me they're hungry. They think it's 8:00! Hello - it's after 11:00 at night & it's my anniversary. This is so NOT fair! Ben did go to bed at 7:00, but I guess he thought that was just a little nap because he was back up at 10:00. Adjusting to time change - not very fun! Could someone please tell my kids we are not in Hawaii anymore!

Hilarious!
We slept to noon even though in bed at 9 pm...the schedule thing is crazy! Sorry you spent your anniversary with that though:( the joys of motherhood:)
what a fun anniversary...probably as fun as mone will be....glad everyone got home safely.
I should share that Brad & I did get to go out to a nice dinner earlier in the evening & had a really great dinner & some quiet alone time. It just would have been nice to continue that quiet alone time into the later evening!
after reading all the Hawaii blogs, it sounds as if the return to home is the most trying of the whole experience for every family! From mental hospitals to luggage to no sleep to extra sleep --
I do love this picture of your kids and upon looking closer, enjoyed the koi pond and fish behind them. Reminds me of Japan
We really had some major issues with the timing. School has forced us back into routine though so, I guess that is good. Nicolette finally took her morning nap today at 10 am instead of 12noon!
