At 15 1/2 Months - HE . . .

. . . claps, waves, gives "five", throws kisses, shakes his head no

. . . loves anything with long handles, balls, trucks, going outside, and the toilet

. . . points to everyone's nose & washes his belly in the bath

. . . is daddy's boy

. . . grabs you by the hand, clothing, or whatever is handy to take you to whatever he happens to want - he's even been known to grab his sisters by the hair to lead them to what he wants - (a bit "cave-manish", I know)

. . . makes baby signs for drink, blankie, down, cookie

. . . says dog, bye bye, mama, dada, caca (cookie or any kind of similar food), car, ah oh, truck, nigh night, na na na (no no!)

. . . likes to look at books with pictures of balls, cars, trucks, & dogs

. . . sucks his fingers while holding his blankie

. . . is totally cool, fun, the light of our lives!

. . . is now 21 pounds & 30" tall.

He is growing by leaps & bounds but still hanging out in the 10-20th percentile according to Dr. Rosemary, anyway. Even though he seems "big" to me, he's still just a "little guy"! Check out the length of his new orange shorts - barely above the ankles - size 12 months. That's OK - he is a giant in so many other ways!

How did we get so lucky to have this boy?

What a cutie that Ben is. I don't know how you lucked out and got a boy variety. You have someone on your side there:) He is a sweet boy and he is already growing so big, even if it is the 20th percentile.

Awww . . . I can so relate to loving a little boy!

I took my little boy to lunch today. He tried to talk me into buying him some super cool swimming trunks because he knows it's hard for me to say no to him, especially when he brings out the dimples. But I was good, I said no. 19 year olds with jobs should buy their own clothes. 19 year olds with jobs should buy their own clothes. 19 year olds with jobs should buy their own clothes. . . .

Oops, I didn't add the rest of my comment. I was going to add, "I think you're going to be in trouble with Ben, too, because he already has you wrapped around his finger." And I mean that in the very best way. :)
