Look at this toothless little smile. Katie has waited a long time for a toothless grin. She didn't lose a tooth until after she turned 8 in October, but since that time, she has lost 6 teeth! Her 6th tooth came out this past Saturday. She forgot to put her tooth out for the tooth fairy on Saturday night, but she certainly remembered on Sunday night. Monday morning she checked under her pillow to see what the tooth fairy had left her, only to find a big fat nothing! How could this happen? How could the tooth fairy forget Katie? I assured her that the tooth fairy would certainly come on Monday night. So, on Monday night Katie put her tooth under her pillow with a little note for the tooth fairy, asking her if she could keep her tooth. On Tuesday morning, she anxiously checked under her pillow to find what treasure had been left, only to find NOTHING! OK- what is going on? Katie handled the disappointment quite well on Monday morning, but by Tuesday morning, she was plain mad. I can't say that I blame her. I assured her that the tooth fairy would certainly come on Tuesday night. She believed me, and thankfully, the tooth fairy followed through with a perfectly understandable explanation. Here is her note to Katie explaining the mixup. So glad the tooth fairy finally paid Katie a visit!

I am glad the Tooth Fairy is feeling better! She has forgotten us at our house before...she's a busy gal!
I do think that the tooth fairy does not work on Sunday...something about a commandmanet, or something...
Glad to hear the tooth fairy is all better!

Unfortunately the Tooth Fairy too often has been too busy to stop by our house as well....maybe she needs to get better organized!
