- Ben, from the kitchen as he hears the garage door open, "dada!"
- Lacey, as she thinks out loud, "when I'm a mom I'm not going to be mean and say things to my kids like, you have to go to time out. I will just have them work it out."
- Madi, as she calls home from school, "I want dad to pick us up today, you pick us up everyday, mom."
- Katie's conversation with mom regarding our cute neighbor & missed babysitter, Lyssa, who just returned from her freshman year at BYU -
k -"mom, I want to see Lyssa."
m- "ok, go over & say hi."
k- "I can't do that."
m- "why not?"
k - "I'm timid."
m- "timid? where did you get that word?"
k- "you know how we're studying rainforests at school? Well today we learned that the tree frog is timid & Miss April explained what that meaned, and I am timid."

I love the top picture of Ben and Madi facing each other...really cute.
That is really cute that Katie felt she was timid. And, Lacey...we'll see about that one!
Those pictures are adorable!
I love reading about what kids say.
You'll have to remind Lacey about her mothering vow when she's a mother :-)
