The last few times I've gone to import photos from my camera to my computer, I have ran across pictures I've never seen before. When I thought I was importing maybe 25 photos, I found that I was importing 80 pictures! "What's this?", I wondered. As the pictures flashed across my screen, I was entertained by photos of my daughters, that I didn't take. A lot of them were pretty good photos, too. There is a budding photographer (as well as budding models) in our midst. It seems that in her spare time, Madi likes to "borrow" mom's camera & set her sisters up to do photoshoots. Here is a SMALL sampling of her latest work -
[Saturday morning shoot - Katie & the tape measure]
I have no idea why they used a tape measure as part of their little shoot, but I think the color looks great against Katie's blue sweatshirt.
[Lacey's "going to the beach" photoshoot]
One day at school while in art class, Madi learned a little about photography. That day, she took a picture of one of her classmates and her teacher liked it so well, she asked Madi to take a similar picture of every student in her class. They will use Madi's photos for mother's day gifts. Madi was honored to be given this task by her teacher.
Isn't it interesting to see how children's "play" has evolved from when we were kids?

Great pictures, Madi! Cute models, too :-)
How neat that Madi was asked to take pictures of all her classmates. I bet that just made her day!
Madi what a great job on the pictures....some of them look like a professional took them! You just might have a future with this....(talk to mammy you could save her a lot of money and do the cousin camp pictures...)
Well, this is funny that you've got pictures you don't know about...fun! They are very cute pictures though and I really think the models are darlings!

Yes madi you are extremely talented! How could you not be with a mom like yours! That is so cool that your teacher wants to do a class on taking pictures.
Wow! Very talented! I teach photography at my school. Your daughter has a good eye. What a happy surprise to find in your camera. I, too, found a surprise in my camera from my son. Unfortunately, it wasn't so happy. It got him grounded.
madi, keep borrowing your mammas camera. the close up of lacey is great! it is so real! good job.
