Earlier this week Madi completed an assignment for school by writing a poem about Ben. She would much rather work on a math problem than write a poem, but I think she did a great job with this one! I definitely think her poem is "blog worthy" and wanted to post it for all to read. Madi is a wonderful big sister and shares a special bond with her baby brother Ben -

Madi, this was an excellent poem! I think it is very exciting that it will get to go into a contest. I think you might have inherited your mother's great poem abilities! I also really like the picture of you and Ben at Disneyland.
madi needs to put pen to paper more often in writing poetry about things or people she really cares about--that is when the good poetry comes out. this is a great example. way to go miss madi.
